The startup scene in Greece is hot right now. If you’re in the space, it’s the place to be. While the European ecosystem as a whole saw a decline in allocated capital from VCs, Greece experienced a rise in investments.

Finally, we’re on the opposite side from the rest of Europe. In a good way.

That doesn’t mean there’s not much going on in Europe. There is. People are building things. Cool things. Useful things. Things that change the world for the better. People are solving problems and also, sharing their insights so all of us can learn from their experiences.

There are breadcrumbs of knowledge everywhere you look. From founder interviews to case studies, blog posts to open days, frameworks to whole startup Operating Systems. It is an open-source mindset. The problem is, it is a lot to keep track of and process.

We decided to solve this problem.

We curate the best and most useful content on the internet and share it with you. Let’s kick off the first issue of Problem Solvers 🚀

Founder insights 💡

Simon Beckerman has gone Zero to One. Two times.

First time was with Depop, a marketplace app for young people that allows them to create online stores and sell their personal clothing collections. In 2021, Etsy announced it’s acquisition of Depop for around $1.6 billion. Backerman did not stop there.
